The Stanley Residents' Group volunteers work together to improve our local environment, to bring people together, and to help address local concerns or issues within Stanley, Wakefield, UK.

We are a community of friendly, passionate people working together to improve our local area. Whether it's organising events, fundraising, or making positive changes, there's something for everyone to get involved in.

Our Annual Flower, Vegetable and Baking Show ran alongside the Stanley Gala with numerous entries and Trophies, Prizes and Rosettes with Best in Show awarded

What's happening next?

Scarecrow Trail - 2025

Our Annual Scarecrow Trail is an opportunity to show off your creative skills.. Think of a theme, build your scarecrow, display for all to see and have the chance to win a prize. This year the event will run from Saturday 30th August to Sunday 7th September. You will need to apply by 23rd August (so there is still time to enter). SRG Meetings

The Stanley Residents Group hold regular meetings to discuss and organise upcoming events as well as any matters arising within the Stanley area. If you are interested in helping out in the SRG, then please feel free to come along to one of our meetings and discover what's going on.
